My troubles start on Friday night
Drinkin' up some got in a fight
They take me over to the Houston jail

A mean old boy with a gang tattoo

I cut his throat with a razor blade

The very next day they took me down
The judge says son you're prison bound
They haul me down to the Huntsville pen
